About Parivahan Sewa
Parivahan Sewa is an independent website that explains India's online transport services: vehicle registration on Vahan, driving licences on Sarathi, e-Challan, the mParivahan app, HSRP number plates, FASTag, road tax and RTO codes.
Parivahan Sewa (parivahansewa-in.com) is an independent information website and is not affiliated with MoRTH, Parivahan or any state transport department. We do not process applications, collect fees or store your vehicle or licence data. Every guide sends you to the official portal to complete the task.
Why this site exists
Government portals are built to process applications, not to explain them. Our guides fill that gap: which menu to open, which documents to keep ready, what each status message means and what changes from one state to another.
Who writes the guides
Parivahan Sewa is edited and reviewed by Naman Jain (LinkedIn), who is responsible for what is published. Software tools help draft and structure guides; see our editorial policy.
About the reviewer
Software Developer at the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Govt of India, specialising in core transaction architecture. He built the Permit Module of the national e-Transport platform and reviews these guides in a personal capacity. Parivahan Sewa is independent and is not an NIC or government website.
His work at NIC centres on the design of core transaction systems: the Permit Module of the nationwide e-Transport platform, the security integration logic around it, and database architecture built to handle large spikes in queries.
How we check facts
Fees, fines, deadlines and helpline numbers are stored with their source link and the date we checked them, and where we could not reach the official source we say so on the page. Read our editorial policy and sources and fact-checking pages for details.
