  • parivahan.gov.in – Vahan, Sarathi and e-Challan services (MoRTH / NIC)
  • morth.nic.in – notifications and rules of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways
  • State transport department websites – state fees, road tax and RTO lists
  • egazette.gov.in – Gazette notifications
  • digilocker.gov.in – digital documents

How a fact is recorded

Every number shown in a fee or fine table is stored with three things: the value, the source URL and the date checked. Each table shows its source and check date underneath.

When sources disagree

We follow the most recent official notification and say so on the page. If a state has not published a figure, we do not publish one either.
