RC status Haryana guide: HR vehicle details, office codes and online services

By , Editor and reviewer · Updated · 24 min read · Independent guide, not a government website

In short

To check RC status Haryana applications, open Vahan citizen services, choose Haryana, go to the Status menu and enter the application number from your fee receipt. For vehicle details by number, use the Vahan search or the mParivahan app. Both are free. The signed RC copy downloads from Vahan or DigiLocker with an OTP to the registered mobile.

Key takeaways

  • RC status Haryana checks run on the national Vahan system; Haryana has no separate RC website.
  • The application number on your Vahan fee receipt is the only key you need for a status check.
  • Private vehicles are handled by an RLA at the SDM office; commercial vehicles go to the RTA.
  • HR 87 is Badkhal (Faridabad West), HR 95 is Sampla and HR 03 is Panchkula.
  • Haryana Police began a statewide HSRP drive in October 2026, so check your plate as well as your RC.
  • Searches like e Haryana, stamp paper or domicile are not RTO services; we point you to the right place.

RC status Haryana: what does it actually tell you?

An RC status Haryana check tells you where your registration application stands inside the Vahan system: which desk at the registering office holds it, whether it has been approved, and whether the certificate has been printed. It does not replace the RC itself, and it only works with the application number.

Application status and vehicle record are different

A status check follows a request in progress, such as a new registration, a transfer or an address change. A vehicle search, by contrast, reads the finished record of a number already on the road.

Why Haryana uses the national screen

Haryana moved its registration work onto Vahan 4, the national register built by NIC for MoRTH. Every HR office writes to the same database, so a vehicle registered in Hisar can be looked up from Gurugram. Our vehicle information hub explains the other national services that sit on top of it.

Where can you check RC status Haryana records online?

You can check them on four official routes: the Vahan status page for applications, the Vahan vehicle search and mParivahan for details by number, DigiLocker for a signed copy, and India Post tracking for a smart card already dispatched. None of them charges a fee for the check itself.

One national register, several windows into it.

Which route fits which question

If you bought a car last week, use the status page. If you are buying a used scooter, use the vehicle search. If police ask for papers, show the DigiLocker copy. And if the card was posted, follow the consignment on India Post.

Check RC status Haryana on Vahan, step by step

To check RC status Haryana applications on Vahan, you need only the application number printed on the fee receipt and a working internet connection. The page opens without a login.

  1. Open Vahan citizen services. Go to vahan.parivahan.gov.in and select Haryana as the state.
  2. Open the Status menu. Choose Know Your Application Status.
  3. Enter the application number. Type the number printed on your Vahan fee receipt.
  4. Fill the captcha. Type the characters shown and submit.
  5. Read the stage. Note which desk holds the file, or whether the RC has been approved and printed.

The application number is printed on every Vahan receipt.

Where to find the application number

The number appears on the receipt the dealer or the portal gives after payment. Dealers sometimes keep the receipt; ask for a copy at delivery.

Reading the result

The screen lists each step with a date, such as verification, approval and RC print. A blank date means that step has not happened yet. The national RC status guide explains each stage label in more depth for every state.

What do RC details Haryana searches show?

RC details Haryana searches show the registration number, the registering office, the maker and model, the fuel, the vehicle class, the registration date and the validity of insurance, fitness, tax and PUC. The owner’s name appears only partly masked, and the address and phone number never appear in a public search.

Details buyers should copy down

Before paying for a used vehicle, note the registration date, the fuel and the office. Then compare them with the RC card, the insurance policy and the chassis number stamped on the frame.

Details owners should check

Owners should check that the insurance date on the record matches their policy. Insurers upload policy data, and a delay can make the record show an expired cover. Carry the policy itself until the record catches up.

RC check Haryana on mParivahan: how does it work?

An RC check Haryana owners and buyers run on mParivahan reads the same Vahan record. Install the app published by NIC, enter the HR number in the RC search box, and the summary appears. Signing in with your mobile also lets you add your own vehicle as a virtual RC.

Adding your own virtual RC

To store your own RC, sign in, choose the option to add an RC to your dashboard, enter the number, the chassis and engine digits and the OTP. The virtual copy can be shown at a checkpoint and scanned by police devices.

What does Haryana RTO vehicle information show?

Haryana RTO vehicle information is the public summary of a vehicle’s registration record held by the office that issued it. It covers identity fields, such as maker and fuel, and validity fields, such as insurance and fitness.

Checklist of fields Haryana RTO vehicle information searches show for an HR registration number
Address, phone and full name stay hidden from public searches.

Is the owner name shown?

Only a masked version, such as the first and last letters. Full owner data is limited to the owner through an OTP login, and to police and authorised agencies.

Which office is named

The result names the registering authority, for example an RLA at a sub-division. If a vehicle was transferred from another office, the current office is shown, not the code on the plate.

Can you get vehicle information Haryana by SMS?

Yes, the national SMS service still exists. Send VAHAN followed by the registration number to 7738299899 and you get a short reply with basic details. Your operator may charge for the message.

What the SMS reply contains

Expect the maker and model, the registering office and a few validity dates. It does not show hypothecation, challans or the full owner name. If the reply says no record, check the number for a letter O typed in place of a zero.

Better options when you have data

The web search and the app show more fields and display them more clearly. For a vehicle you are buying, also run a Haryana e-challan check, because pending challans do not appear in the SMS reply.

What is a Haryana RC and who issues it?

A Haryana RC is the registration certificate issued under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 by a Haryana registering authority. For private vehicles that is the Registering and Licensing Authority, usually seated at the SDM office of a sub-division. Commercial vehicles are registered by the Regional Transport Authority of the district.

RLA and RTA in plain words

Think of the RLA as the desk for your car, bike or scooter and the RTA as the desk for taxis, buses and goods carriers. Panchkula, for instance, has HR 03 for private and HR 68 for commercial vehicles.

Smart card and digital copy

The physical RC is a smart card. The same record can be printed from Vahan or fetched in DigiLocker. A private vehicle’s first RC is valid for 15 years from issue under Section 41(7) of the Act and is then renewed.

How does Haryana vehicle registration work for a new vehicle?

Haryana vehicle registration for a new car or bike starts at the showroom. The dealer enters your details on Vahan, collects the one-time road tax and fees, uploads the papers and sends the file to the RLA for your address. The office approves it, the HR number is allotted, and the RC follows.

Timeline of Haryana vehicle registration from dealer purchase to HR number and RC
Most buyers never queue at the Haryana office at all.

What you do as the buyer

Give the dealer correct address proof, PAN or Form 60, and a mobile number you will keep for years. Read the spelling of your name and father’s name on the draft before it is uploaded.

Tax at the time of registration

Road tax is the largest part of the bill. Haryana charges it once on most private vehicles, with rebates for some fuel types and for women owners. The current rates are on our Haryana road tax page, so we do not repeat them here.

How do you track Haryana vehicle registration status?

You track Haryana vehicle registration status on the same Vahan status page, using the application number the dealer gives you. Until approval, the number shows as pending. After approval, the record shows your HR number and the date the RC was printed. SMS alerts also arrive at each stage.

Temporary number while you wait

A vehicle that leaves the showroom before a permanent number is allotted carries a temporary registration. HR 99 is used for temporary numbers across Haryana.

When the dealer is slow

If the status has not moved for a week after payment, ask the dealer whether all documents were uploaded. A missing invoice or insurance file is the usual cause.

Haryana car registration: papers and central fees

Haryana car registration uses the central forms of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, and central fees set under Rule 81. Haryana adds its own road tax and may add service or smart card charges. The amount on your Vahan fee screen is final, so treat the table below as a guide to the central part.

Source: Car registration fee (MotoMotar), 2022 renewal fees (Autocar India). Checked October 2026.

The forms behind the file

Form 20 is the application, Form 21 the dealer’s sale certificate and Form 22 the maker’s roadworthiness certificate. A vehicle bought on loan adds Form 34 for the bank’s hypothecation. The dealer usually fills all of them for you.

Why your bill is higher

On-road prices also include road tax, insurance, HSRP and dealer handling. Only the government items appear on the Vahan receipt.

HR vehicle registration: what the HR prefix means

HR vehicle registration simply means a vehicle registered in Haryana. HR is the state code assigned to Haryana, and it opens every Haryana registration mark. The two digits after it name the office, the letters that follow mark the series, and the last four digits identify the vehicle.

A worked example

Take HR 51 AB 1234. HR is Haryana, 51 is the Faridabad registering authority, AB is the series and 1234 the vehicle’s number in it. Read that way, the plate tells you where the vehicle was first registered, not where the owner lives today.

HR on a vehicle outside Haryana

An HR vehicle can be driven anywhere in India. If it is kept in another state for more than 12 months, Section 47 requires a new registration there, after an NOC from the Haryana office.

What does Haryana registration mean outside transport?

Haryana registration is a broad search. Besides vehicles, it can mean registering a property deed, a marriage, a firm, a shop or a birth. Those are handled by the revenue, labour or health departments, not by the transport offices. This page covers vehicle registration only and points to the right portal for the rest.

Key numbers for Haryana registration: HR code, 99 office codes, 23 districts and RC validity
Four numbers that explain any Haryana registration mark.

Telling the services apart

If the word comes with car, bike, RC or number, it is a transport service on Vahan. If it comes with property, sale deed or stamp duty, it belongs to the sub-registrar.

One common overlap

Selling a vehicle does not need a registered sale deed. The transfer runs on Vahan through Forms 29 and 30. A notarised sale letter is useful as proof between buyer and seller, but it is not a registration.

Download RC online Haryana: which copy is valid?

To download RC online Haryana owners use the national print RC option on Vahan or DigiLocker. Both read the same record and both need the registration number, the chassis digits and an OTP to the registered mobile. The DigiLocker copy carries a digital signature, which makes it the safest copy to show.

Steps in brief

On Vahan, choose Haryana, open the document print option, enter the details and the OTP, and save the PDF. In DigiLocker, look under Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for Registration of Vehicles. The full walkthrough is on our RC download page.

Which copy police accept

A 2018 MoRTH advisory treats RC records in DigiLocker and mParivahan as valid. Keep the live app copy on your phone.

RC dispatch status Haryana: where is the smart card?

RC dispatch status Haryana owners look for usually means one thing: the card has been printed, but it has not reached home. Once the Vahan status shows the RC printed, the card is handed to the post. A consignment number may then appear in an SMS or on the status screen.

Tracking the parcel

Enter the consignment number on India Post’s tracking page. It may show nothing for a day or two, because the parcel is booked only after the office hands it over.

Driving without the card

You do not need to wait for the card. Download the PDF or add the RC to DigiLocker the day it is approved. That copy is accepted on the road while the card is in transit.

How does RC renewal online Haryana work?

RC renewal online Haryana starts on Vahan: choose Haryana, pick the renewal of registration service, enter the vehicle details, pay the fee and book a slot. A private vehicle reaches renewal at 15 years. The office then inspects the vehicle and checks its fitness before approving five more years.

Why the visit is still needed

The law ties renewal to the vehicle’s condition, so the office has to see it. Bring the original RC, insurance, PUC and proof of tax.

Fees and late charges

Renewal fees rose sharply from April 2022, and a monthly late charge applies. The table above shows the central amounts; the RC renewal after 15 years fees guide works through examples.

NOC status Haryana: how do you follow the request?

NOC status Haryana owners follow on the same Vahan status page, using the NOC application number. You need the NOC when you move a Haryana vehicle to another state. Under Section 48, the office must decide within 30 days, after a police report that the vehicle is not stolen.

What can hold an NOC

Unpaid tax, pending challans and an open hypothecation are the usual blockers. Clear the loan with Form 35 and the bank’s no-dues letter first.

After the NOC is issued

Take the NOC to the office in your new state and apply for a fresh number. Our NOC certificate guide explains Form 28 and validity in detail.

Which Haryana RTO online services can you use?

Haryana RTO online services cover most daily tasks: status checks, RC print, address change, transfer of ownership, hypothecation entry or removal, duplicate RC, tax payment, NOC and fancy number booking. Licence work runs on Sarathi. Some services still end with a visit to check originals or inspect the vehicle.

Contactless services with Aadhaar

MoRTH made a set of services contactless in 2021, with Aadhaar authentication in place of an office visit. A duplicate RC is one of them. Where Haryana offers the Aadhaar option, choose it to skip the queue.

Licence services

Licences are a separate system. For a commercial licence in the state, see our heavy licence Haryana guide.

What does the Transport Commissioner Haryana do?

The Transport Commissioner Haryana heads the State Transport Department from Chandigarh. The office issues circulars to registering authorities, sets state procedures, oversees enforcement and road-safety drives, and handles policy matters such as permits and special numbers. Individual RC applications still go to your local RLA or RTA.

The HR 70 series

The Commissioner’s office in Chandigarh holds its own series, HR 70, for special and out-of-turn numbers.

When to write to the Commissioner

Write only after the local office has failed to solve a problem, or for a policy question. The officer’s name and contact details change with postings, so look them up on haryanatransport.gov.in instead of trusting old lists. Haryana Roadways buses are also part of this department.

Which office is RTO Panchkula?

RTO Panchkula is really two offices. The Registering and Licensing Authority at the SDM office handles private vehicles under HR 03. The Regional Transport Authority at the bus stand handles commercial vehicles under HR 68. Kalka, in the same district, has its own code, HR 49. The listed addresses are below.

Which Panchkula office is yours

The office that applies depends on the pin code of your address. Residents of the Kalka and Pinjore side may be sent to HR 49. Check your pin code in the office list on the state site before you book a slot.

HR 87 RTO: which Faridabad office is it?

HR 87 RTO is the Badkhal office, listed as Faridabad West, in Faridabad district. It is one of four codes in the district, alongside HR 51 Faridabad North, HR 29 Ballabgarh and HR 38 for commercial vehicles. A dedicated HR 87 page covers the office’s area in detail.

Why Faridabad has several codes

A fast-growing district gets more registering offices to share the load. New numbers then come from whichever office covers the owner’s address.

Checking an HR 87 vehicle

Search the number on Vahan as usual. The registering office field should name the Badkhal authority, unless the vehicle has since been transferred to another office.

HR 95 RTO: where is Sampla?

HR 95 RTO is the Sampla office in Rohtak district. Rohtak has several codes: HR 12 for the Rohtak authority, HR 15 for Meham, HR 46 for Rohtak commercial vehicles and HR 95 for Sampla. Sampla sits on the Delhi side of the district, so many HR 95 vehicles are seen in Bahadurgarh and west Delhi.

Is HR 95 a new code?

It is one of the higher-numbered codes, which in Haryana were generally added as new sub-divisions got their own offices. For the full spread of Haryana codes by district, see the HR 12 which city list.

How do you read a number plate Haryana issues?

A number plate Haryana issues reads left to right as state, office, series and number, for example HR 26 DK 0001. The plate also carries the IND mark, a hologram and a laser-etched serial, because every plate fitted now is a high security registration plate.

Colours and what they mean

White plates with black letters are private vehicles. Yellow plates with black letters are commercial. Green plates mark electric vehicles. Red-on-yellow temporary plates mark vehicles waiting for a permanent number.

What is the Haryana code number on plates?

The Haryana code number on plates is the two-digit office number after HR. It runs from HR 01 Ambala to HR 99, the series used for temporary numbers. In between, each sub-division or district office has one or more codes, and commercial vehicles often get a separate code.

Private and commercial codes

Several districts have one code for private vehicles and another for commercial ones. Ambala has HR 01 and HR 37, Gurugram HR 26 and HR 55, Faridabad HR 51 and HR 38.

Codes and new districts

Haryana now has 23 districts, after Hansi was carved out of Hisar in December 2025. Existing codes did not change; HR 21 Hansi and HR 86 Narnaund now fall in the new district.

Haryana ka code kya hai?

Haryana ka code HR hai. Har Haryana gaadi ki number plate HR se shuru hoti hai, phir do ank aate hain jo RTO office batate hain, jaise HR 26 Gurugram North, HR 03 Panchkula ya HR 12 Rohtak. Uske baad series ke akshar aur aakhri chaar ank gaadi ka number hote hain.

Apni gaadi ka office kaise jaanein

Plate par HR ke baad wale do ank dekhiye. Phir Vahan ya mParivahan par number daaliye; registering office ka naam wahan likha hota hai. Agar gaadi transfer hui hai, to naya office dikhega.

HR aur RJ ka fark

Haryana ke paas ke Rajasthan ke shehron ki gaadiyan RJ code ke saath aati hain, jaise RJ 49 Nohar. Do-akshar ka code hi rajya batata hai.

Haryana no plate rules: HSRP and colour sticker

Haryana no plate rules follow the central HSRP mandate: every vehicle needs a high security registration plate front and rear, plus a colour-coded fuel sticker. Vehicles made from April 2019 got them at the dealer. Older vehicles must be fitted with them through the booking portal.

Dos and don'ts card on Haryana no plate rules for HSRP, fuel sticker and lettering
Plates without HSRP are being challaned across Haryana in 2026.

Enforcement in 2026

On 15 October 2026 Haryana Police announced a statewide drive against vehicles without HSRP and against tampered or covered plates, with challans under the Motor Vehicles Act. Kaithal district said fines would start from 1 November 2026. The Transport Commissioner has also told centres not to issue PUC or fitness certificates to vehicles without HSRP.

Booking a plate

Bookings for HSRP and stickers run through the state’s booking portal. Prices and fitment options are on our HSRP number plate Haryana page.

What must a Haryana car number plate show?

A Haryana car number plate must show only the registration mark in English capital letters and Arabic numerals, on an HSRP with the IND mark and hologram. Names, slogans, caste words, party symbols and stylised fonts are not allowed. A third registration mark, the fuel sticker, goes on the inside of the windscreen.

Sticker colours

Light blue stickers mark petrol and CNG cars; orange stickers mark diesel cars. The sticker carries the registration number and the plate’s laser code, so it cannot be moved to another vehicle.

Which Gurgaon number plate codes exist?

A Gurgaon number plate carries one of five codes: HR 26 for Gurugram North, HR 98 for Badshahpur (Gurugram South), HR 72 for Sohna, HR 76 for Pataudi and Farrukhnagar, and HR 55 for commercial vehicles. The city was renamed Gurugram in 2016, but none of the codes changed.

North or south of the city

Which Gurugram code a new car gets depends on the owner’s address. Older sectors and the old city usually fall to HR 26; newer southern sectors to HR 98. The HR 26 which city page covers the Gurugram offices one by one.

Which Faridabad number plate codes exist?

A Faridabad number plate shows HR 51 for Faridabad North, HR 29 for Ballabgarh (Faridabad South), HR 87 for Badkhal (Faridabad West) or HR 38 for commercial vehicles. Palwal was carved out of Faridabad in 2008 and has its own codes, including HR 30 and HR 73.

Old Faridabad plates

Some older vehicles from present-day Palwal still carry Faridabad codes. A code shows the office at the time of registration, so these plates are still valid and need no change.

Checking the office

The Vahan record names the office for each vehicle. That is the office you approach for a transfer, a duplicate RC or a hypothecation change.

What do people mean by Haryana car?

Haryana car is a loose search. Usually it means a car with an HR plate, a car bought in Haryana, or a used car that someone wants to bring from Haryana to another state.

Buying an HR car from another state

Check the record on Vahan, then ask the seller for an NOC from the Haryana office. In your own state you will pay road tax and get a new number. Haryana tax for the unused period can be claimed back from the Haryana taxing office.

Selling an HR car

File the transfer on Vahan quickly. Until the record changes, the seller in the register stays answerable for the vehicle, including challans and accidents.

What is Haryana automobile?

Haryana automobile usually refers to the state’s large car and two-wheeler manufacturing belt around Gurugram and Manesar, or to an automobile dealer with Haryana in its name. It is not a government service.

If a business calls itself Haryana Automobile

Treat it as a private dealer or workshop. A dealer may register your new vehicle on Vahan, but it cannot issue an RC on its own; the registering office approves every file.

Why does a Haryana RC status search fail?

A Haryana RC status search usually fails for one of five reasons: the wrong kind of number was entered, the number has a typo, the OTP goes to an old phone, the insurer has not uploaded a policy, or the vehicle was moved to another office.

Common Haryana RC search problems and fixes, from record not found to stuck status
Most failures trace back to a typo or an outdated mobile number.

Number type mix-ups

The status page wants the application number, not the plate number. The vehicle search wants the plate number, typed without spaces. Swapping them gives “no record” on both pages.

Mobile number problems

OTPs go only to the mobile in the Vahan record. If that number is lost, update it on Vahan first with the chassis digits, or at the registering office.

What is Try Haryana?

Try Haryana does not match any official Haryana government or transport service that we could find. It may be a mistyped search for e Haryana or for the state’s Saral portal, or the name of a private website or campaign. We could not confirm its meaning, so we do not guess.

What to do if you saw it somewhere

If a link or message calls itself Try Haryana and asks for your vehicle number, Aadhaar or a payment, do not enter anything. Official transport services sit on parivahan.gov.in and haryanatransport.gov.in.

Similar searches that are official

For vehicle records, use Vahan. For state certificates and schemes, use the Saral single-window portal described below.

What is e Haryana?

E Haryana is a common search for the state government’s online services. There is no single site of that name for vehicles. Transport work runs on Vahan and Sarathi, while certificates and welfare schemes run on the state’s own single-window portal and department websites.

Where e Haryana searches should lead

For RC, licence, permit or tax, go to Parivahan. For income, caste or resident certificates, go to the Saral portal. For bus passes, go to Haryana Roadways.

Beware look-alike sites

Look-alike pages copy state logos to look official.

Haryana online: where do non-transport services sit?

Haryana online services outside transport sit mainly on the Saral single-window portal at saralharyana.gov.in, run by the state government. It brings certificates, licences and scheme applications from many departments into one login. Transport services are linked from it but still run on Vahan and Sarathi.

Quick answer card on Haryana RC status, Panchkula, HR 87 and HR 95 codes
The four Haryana questions readers send us most often.

How Saral and Vahan connect

You can reach some transport services from Saral, but the vehicle application itself opens on Parivahan. Your Vahan application number, not a Saral reference, is what you use for RC status.

How do you get a Haryana certificate download?

A Haryana certificate download for a resident, caste or income certificate is done from the account you used to apply on the Saral portal. Once the certificate is approved, it appears in your dashboard as a signed PDF. Many such certificates can also be fetched in DigiLocker.

Vehicle certificates are different

An RC, a fitness certificate or a permit is downloaded from Vahan, not Saral. A PUC certificate comes from the PUC database on Parivahan.

Haryana domicile certificate online apply: is it an RTO job?

No. A Haryana domicile certificate online apply request goes to the revenue administration, usually through the tehsil, via the Saral portal. The RTO never issues residence certificates. For vehicle registration you need only address proof in the office’s area, such as an Aadhaar card or a utility bill.

When transport work needs domicile

Some state schemes, such as quota-based permits or concessions, may ask for a Haryana resident certificate. The scheme notice says so. Ordinary registration and licences do not.

What is the Indian non judicial stamp Haryana government sells?

The Indian non judicial stamp Haryana government sells is the stamp duty paid on agreements, affidavits, rent deeds and similar documents, as opposed to court-fee stamps used in court cases. Haryana has moved this to e-stamping, so the stamp is now a printed certificate with a unique number rather than an old engraved paper.

Do vehicle papers need stamp paper?

An ordinary transfer on Vahan does not. Forms 29 and 30 are filed online and need no stamp. Some buyers and sellers add a stamped sale agreement for their own records, which is a private choice.

Checking an e-stamp

Each e-stamp carries a certificate number that can be verified online with the issuer. Do not accept one that cannot be verified.

Where do you buy stamp paper in Gurgaon?

For stamp paper in Gurgaon, buy an e-stamp from an authorised vendor or collection centre, usually near the tehsil, the sub-registrar offices and the district courts, or through the state’s online e-stamp route where offered. Confirm the duty for your document type before you buy, since it varies by deed.

What to tell the vendor

Give the names of both parties, the document type and the stamp duty amount. The vendor prints the e-stamp in the first party’s name.

Rent agreements and affidavits

Most people in Gurugram buy stamp paper for rent agreements and affidavits. Neither is needed for an RC transfer or address change on Vahan.

Can you make an online affidavit Haryana accepts?

An online affidavit Haryana accepts still needs a valid e-stamp and attestation by a notary or oath commissioner. Some services let you draft the text and buy the e-stamp online, but the signing and attestation happen in person in most cases. For RTO work, a self-declaration on the form is usually enough.

When an RTO asks for an affidavit

An office may ask for one in unusual cases, such as a name mismatch between papers or a lost RC with no police report. Ask the desk for the exact wording before you get it attested.

Self-declarations on Vahan

Most Vahan forms already carry a declaration that you sign or accept with an OTP.

What was the Haryana government e pass?

The Haryana government e pass was an online movement pass that the state issued during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown for essential travel. It is no longer required. Today a search for it usually comes from old links. No pass is needed to drive an HR vehicle within or out of Haryana.

Passes that do exist now

Bus passes and concession cards are issued by Haryana Roadways, and toll passes come with FASTag. Commercial vehicles crossing into Haryana pay tax rather than taking a pass.

RC status haryana questions

How can I check RC status in Haryana for free?

Open Vahan citizen services, pick Haryana, choose Know Your Application Status and enter the application number from your receipt. There is no fee.

Is there a separate Haryana website for RC status?

No. Haryana registers vehicles on the national Vahan system, so the Parivahan status page and the mParivahan app are the official routes.

Which RTO code is Panchkula?
